Portugal wildfires: over 20 homes burn near Mirandela

A grassland fire destroyed more than 20 homes near the northern Portuguese city of Mirandela overnight Wednesday to Thursday. The blaze reached residential areas, forcing residents to flee. Evacuations of threatened towns are ongoing.
