Xbox admits game discs should have worked during its outage — fix coming soon
Xbox's tech chief acknowledged that disc-based games should have continued working during the recent Xbox services outage. However, consoles required an internet connection to launch even physical disc games, leaving players unable to play offline. A fix for the issue is expected to arrive soon.
