Music labels demand AI tracks be "substantially human made" to chart

Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Sony Music and other labels proposed new guidelines on Wednesday requiring that only tracks "substantially human made" qualify for music chart rankings. The joint initiative aims to regulate how AI-generated music is treated commercially.
