VLA completes most detailed radio sky survey ever conducted

The National Radio Astronomy Observatory has completed the Very Large Array Sky Survey (VLASS) using the 28 movable dishes of the Karl G. Jansky VLA in New Mexico. It is the most detailed radio survey of the sky ever completed. The results are expected to expand knowledge of radio-emitting objects across the universe.
