Third-seeded Taylor Fritz, the 2024 US Open finalist, defeated Kamil Majchrzak 6:3, 6:4 in just 75 minutes in the second round of the ATP 500 tournament in Washington. Majchrzak had advanced a day earlier by beating Tommy Paul. The Polish player is eliminated at the second-round stage.
