Comcast store manager smashed pies in workers' faces as sales punishment

A lawsuit against Comcast's cable division alleges that a store manager in Plainville, Connecticut, ran a monthly ritual in which the top-ranked salesperson tied the lowest-ranked to a chair and smashed a cream pie into their face. Videos of the incidents were recorded by employees on orders from the manager. Plaintiff David Figueroa, hired on February 2, 2026, says he was subjected to the practice himself.
