Hundreds of migrants have swum from Morocco to the Spanish territory of Ceuta, overwhelming border security forces. The scale of the maritime crossing has stretched the capacity of border services at this Spanish enclave on the North African coast. Ceuta is one of two Spanish territories in Africa that frequently face large-scale migration attempts.
