Cinema United chief opposes Paramount–Warner Bros. merger, backs legal challenge

Cinema United CEO Michael O'Leary has reiterated his lobbying group's opposition to the proposed merger between Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros., and endorsed litigation filed by state Attorneys General that has put the deal on hold. In a letter to theater owners on Wednesday, he called for the legal challenge to continue. The group argues the merger threatens the interests of cinema chains.
