Fed holds at 3.5%–3.75%: Warsh rules out flexible inflation target
The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) held US interest rates at 3.50%–3.75% on Wednesday. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh was emphatic: "There is no flexible inflation target. There is no hidden, flexible target here. That is not what this committee is guarding." It marks the fifth consecutive meeting with no rate change.
