Moscow police detaining men for long hair, earrings and tattoos

Since the start of summer, police patrols in central Moscow have intensified, with officers stopping young men who stand out due to their appearance — long hair, earrings or tattoos. Dozens of videos documenting the detentions have appeared on TikTok. The crackdown is suspected to be linked to efforts to track down men evading military conscription.
