Final Fantasy 14 may finally let new players skip its massive story
Final Fantasy 14, Square Enix's MMORPG now in its 13th year, requires hundreds of hours to complete the main story alone, making it increasingly hard to recommend to new players. With a sixth expansion due in January, Square Enix has so far required all players to work through the full story before accessing new content. Reports now suggest the company may finally be considering a story-skip option, though no official announcement has been made.
