Polish raspberries hit 15 zł per 250g after frosts and drought devastate crop

A small 250-gram punnet of raspberries costs 15 złoty at a market in central Lublin, as this year's Polish harvest has been exceptionally poor. Growers in the Lublin region — known as Poland's raspberry heartland — cite two causes: spring frosts and summer drought. Both hit simultaneously, sharply reducing the supply of domestically grown fruit.
