F1 boss: 2026 season will end in Europe if Middle East conflict continues
Formula 1 president Stefano Domenicali has said the 2026 championship will end in Europe if the Middle East conflict makes it impossible to hold the season-closing races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi. It is the first such explicit public caveat from F1 leadership regarding the upcoming calendar. Domenicali did not specify which European circuits could replace the planned finales.
