Platform work directive ready in Poland, but Left Party warns of loopholes
Poland's Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy has confirmed that a draft implementing the EU platform work directive — protecting the rights of app-based workers — is ready. EU member states have until December 2 to implement the directive. The Left Party Razem is calling for broad social dialogue, while food delivery platform Pyszne.pl says the slow pace of systemic change already forced it to alter its employment model.
