Nurses and doctors don't die younger than average Poles — chambers repeat a myth

A report by Poland's Supreme Council of Nurses and Midwives claims nurses live 20 years less than the average Polish woman, while the head of the Supreme Medical Council, Łukasz Jankowski, argues doctors also fail to reach average life expectancy. However, both organisations are wrong: the claims are based on misinterpreted data and repeat a statistical myth. Actual demographic data does not support the thesis that these professions have shortened lifespans.
