Polish firefighters to join France and Spain wildfire operations from Saturday

Poland will join an international firefighting operation supporting France and Spain from Saturday, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced on Wednesday. Both countries are battling large-scale wildfires. Romania and Greece have also decided to extend their ongoing firefighting missions in the affected areas.
