US Sanctions 10 Firms and 8 Tankers Tied to Iran's Shadow Fleet

The US Treasury Department announced sanctions on Wednesday targeting 10 companies and eight tankers linked to Iran. Since the start of the year, over 100 vessels connected to Iran's shadow fleet have been sanctioned in total. Treasury Secretary Bessent stated that the US will not allow Iran to hold global trade hostage.
