SEC ready to write crypto rules if Clarity Act stalls in Senate

SEC Chair Paul Atkins said the commission is prepared to draft its own crypto regulations if the Clarity Act fails to pass the full Senate. The bill cleared the House a year ago and passed the Senate Banking Committee in May, but has yet to receive a floor vote. The Clarity Act was designed to divide oversight of digital assets between the SEC and the CFTC.
