Poland hit by Mediterranean heatwave Thursday — up to 36°C

A powerful heatwave will sweep nearly all of Poland on Thursday, with temperatures expected to reach up to 36°C. Only mountain regions and the north-east of the country will stay below 30°C. The scorching weather marks a sharp contrast to the relatively mild start of July.
