JSW Needs 2 Billion Zloty by Year-End to Avoid Collapse
Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa (JSW) needs a total loan of approximately 2 billion złoty by the end of the year to maintain financial liquidity, JSW president Bogusław Oleksy told the Polish parliament. The company is already processing an 850 million złoty loan from the Industrial Development Agency as immediate support. The mining giant is on the brink of collapse amid a deep crisis in the coal sector.
