Health insurance reform for entrepreneurs: not all overpayments will be refunded

A bill reforming the health insurance contribution settlement for self-employed Poles has cleared the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers and is nearing final passage. While the law is meant to simplify annual settlements, it introduces changes under which not every overpayment will be refunded to the taxpayer. The new rules are seen as unfavourable for a portion of entrepreneurs.
