Pb95 petrol up 62 gr/litre at the pump as retailer margins grow by PLN 4m a day

Since the start of July, wholesale prices for Pb95 petrol have risen by 42 grosze per litre, while retail prices have jumped by 62 grosze — a gap that points to widening station margins. Analysts estimate that retailers nationwide may be pocketing around PLN 4 million more per day than at the start of the month. Critics argue the retail hikes are disproportionate to wholesale cost increases.
