No quorum in committee – Żurek's rule-of-law bill stalled again in parliament
After nearly six months on hold, the Sejm was set to resume work on the government's rule-of-law bill championed by judge Waldemar Żurek, but proceedings were again halted due to a lack of quorum in the parliamentary committee. The next attempt to advance the legislation is scheduled for Thursday. The bill has faced repeated delays since it was first introduced.
