Parliamentary panel backs lifting immunity of KO MP Wojciech Król

Poland's parliamentary rules committee voted on Wednesday to lift the immunity of Civic Coalition MP Wojciech Król, following a request from the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO). The committee simultaneously rejected a separate motion to allow his detention and pre-trial arrest. The matter will now go before the full Sejm for a final vote.
