Poland weighs scrapping bank tax for defence firms to boost arms investment

Polish authorities are considering exempting defence companies from the bank tax in a move aimed at accelerating defence investment and boosting arms exports. Under the proposal, money currently paid as tax would remain within the sector to fund industry growth. The plan has not yet been confirmed and its budgetary impact is still being assessed.
