Iran rejects joint Oman control of Strait of Hormuz

Iran has officially rejected a plan for joint management of the Strait of Hormuz with Oman. Tehran is pushing for unilateral control over the vital oil-shipping route, dismissing the proposal that would have had both countries share oversight of the strategic waterway.
