Public executions in Isfahan spark anti-regime protests in Iran
Iranian authorities publicly executed two protesters in Isfahan at dawn on July 28. Several hundred people gathered at Alikhani Square but, instead of supporting the execution, chanted anti-police slogans, prompting anti-riot units to disperse the crowd.
