Two dead in Germany after contracting Vibrio bacteria in the Baltic Sea

Germany has recorded two deaths from Vibrio bacteria infections contracted during swimming in the Baltic Sea. The victims were elderly people who were infected through unhealed wounds. Specialists warn that older adults and people with chronic illnesses are at particular risk and should avoid bathing with open wounds.
