IMGW issues top-level heat alerts as extreme temperatures return to Poland

Poland's Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) has issued its highest-level heat warnings for the south-western part of the country, with second- and first-level alerts in force elsewhere. Temperatures are forecast to exceed 30°C across almost all of Poland as an extreme heatwave returns.
