Battery storage systems (BESS) set to revolutionise energy sector, expert says

Prof. Konrad Świrski of Warsaw University of Technology has warned that solar and wind power alone are insufficient for a full energy transition. He described the rapid development of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) as a coming revolution in the sector.
