Polish Finance Ministry drops planned flat-tax hike for solo self-employed

Poland's Finance Ministry has dropped a planned increase in the flat-rate tax for solo self-employed individuals who do not hire staff, as well as a proposed 100,000-zloty revenue cap. The reversal came after the SME Ombudsman raised objections. The ministry confirmed the changes in a Wednesday statement.
