Tottenham Hotspur defeated Sydney FC on penalties to claim their third win of pre-season, after the match ended 1-1 after 90 minutes. Mathys Tel scored a stunning free-kick to give Spurs their goal in normal time. The penalty shootout then settled the contest in Tottenham's favour.
