Rzeszów hospital fined 1.1M zloty by NFZ for inflating surgery costs
A private hospital in Rzeszów has been fined 1.1 million zloty by the National Health Fund (NFZ) after it was found to have billed the system for more expensive surgical procedures than were actually performed. The original penalty stood at 1.8 million zloty before being reduced. The hospital has offered an explanation for the discrepancy, which was obtained by Wirtualna Polska.
