Czarzasty and KO clash over immunity of MP Król

KO MP Wojciech Król faces a European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) request to lift his parliamentary immunity on corruption charges. KO is angry at Sejm Speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty for forwarding the case despite what the party considers a legal flaw in the application. Lawyer Ryszard Kalisz intervened on Król's behalf with the Speaker. KO politicians privately admit they do not expect the immunity to hold.
