Libya deports over 117,000 migrants and closes borders to Sudan and Eritrea

Eastern Libya's Benghazi-based authorities have deported more than 117,000 irregular migrants of various nationalities under a policy approved at the end of June. The country has also closed its borders to nationals of Sudan and Eritrea. More than 100,000 additional migrants registered for voluntary repatriation, according to Info Migrants.
