Rojek: Streaming platforms rob artists just like pirates once did

Artur Rojek, director of OFF Festival and former Myslovitz vocalist, said streaming platforms pay artists fractions of a penny per play while telling them to be grateful for ending piracy. He compared the situation to being robbed — first by pirates, now by streaming services. The remarks were made on the programme "Rzecz o polityce."
