WWII mortar shell found in wardrobe — block evacuated in Gliwice

Ten residents were evacuated from an apartment block in Gliwice after a man cleaning a flat left by a former tenant found a WWII-era mortar shell inside a wardrobe. The find was confirmed by police superintendent Marzena Szwed of the Gliwice police command. Explosive ordnance disposal services were called to the scene.
