Oscar-winning songwriter Glen Hansard killed in motorcycle crash aged 56

Glen Hansard, the Irish musician and actor known for the 2007 low-budget musical film Once, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Dublin on Wednesday. He was 56. Hansard won the Academy Award for best original song for "Falling Slowly."
