PKP chief: I want rail to become Poles' top transport choice

The Polish Sejm has declared 2026 the Year of Polish Rail, marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of Polish State Railways (PKP). The head of PKP expressed his ambition for rail to become the preferred mode of transport for Polish citizens. The resolution was passed unanimously by parliament.
