Data protection authority warns health ministry: smartphones on psychiatric wards risk privacy breaches
The President of Poland's Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), Mirosław Wróblewski, has forwarded to the Ministry of Health a petition calling for regulation of mobile phone use on closed psychiatric wards. The office warns that uncontrolled smartphone use by patients may violate the personal data of other people on the ward.
