Rheumatologist Fiałek quits public healthcare: 750,000 zł a year not enough
Well-known rheumatologist Bartosz Fiałek is leaving public healthcare after the Pomeranian Rheumatology Centre in Sopot rejected his offer. He had proposed 4,000 zł per working day, a minimum of 21 patients and seven hours in the clinic — around 750,000 zł annually. The centre chose one of seven rival candidates who offered more favourable terms.
