EA CEO's bonus rose to $38.7m despite Battlefield 6 developer layoffs

EA CEO Andrew Wilson received a $38.7 million bonus for the 2026 financial year, up $8 million from the previous year. The company credited the payout to Battlefield 6 meeting "all milestones" and the rollout of a new AI strategy. The bonuses for senior executives came despite widespread layoffs across multiple EA studios during the same period.
