New Polish Ombudsman sworn in as PiS MPs boycott ceremony

Sylwia Gregorczyk-Abram was sworn in as Poland's new Commissioner for Human Rights (RPO) in the Sejm. MPs from the Law and Justice party (PiS) boycotted the ceremony and were absent from the chamber. Sejm Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty commented on their absence, saying: "I don't want to be spiteful, but all divisions didn't give you reason."
