Finland to cut internet transit to Russia from 2027

From 2027, Finland will stop maintaining the power line infrastructure that carries a portion of international internet traffic into Russia. Finnish authorities deemed the upkeep financially unviable. The decision effectively cuts another communication channel between Russia and the West.
