Asian Chip Stocks Plunge Further After SK Hynix Disappoints

Shares in Asian AI and semiconductor firms tumbled further after South Korean chipmaker SK Hynix reported quarterly results that fell short of investor expectations. Seoul's Kospi index, dominated by semiconductor manufacturers, slid as much as 12.6% at one point, its lowest since early April, following a near 11% slump the previous day. The sell-off in AI-linked stocks is accelerating.
