Poland's Justice Ministry to add psychosexologists as experts in sexual offence cases

Poland's Ministry of Justice plans to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to allow psychosexologists to assess the mental health of defendants with sexual preference disorders. Until now, such assessments were carried out solely by medical sexologists. The new regulations aim to improve the quality of expert opinions in sexual offence cases, including rape.
