Falcon 9 upper stage may hit the Moon on 5 August
Astronomers from more than a dozen research centres have calculated that a Falcon 9 upper stage from SpaceX may crash into the Moon's surface on 5 August. The impact is expected to produce a flash and a small crater. Teams are encouraging both professional observatories and amateur astronomers to attempt to record the event live.
