40% of Poles oppose Ukraine's EU membership as Russian influence on opinion grows

A CBOS poll shows the share of Poles opposing Ukraine's EU membership has surged from 2% in 2022 to 40% today. A separate Opinia24 survey for the weekly Polityka found that 44% of Poles want military aid to Ukraine halted. Commentator Artur Bartkiewicz warns that Russia is successfully waging an information war in Poland, and that Poland risks being seen as hostile towards Ukrainians.
