France wildfire: 42,000 hectares burned, fire under control after two quiet nights

A massive wildfire in southwest France that has burned around 42,000 hectares remains under control after two quiet nights, regional authorities said. The regional prefecture warned, however, that hot and dry weather conditions remain unfavourable and the situation could deteriorate.
