PKP Intercity offers free ticket refunds during heatwave 30 July–9 August

PKP Intercity announced that passengers can return tickets free of charge due to a forecast heatwave affecting the whole of Poland from 30 July to 9 August 2026. The special rules apply to anyone who decides to cancel their journey because of the extreme heat. The carrier introduced the measure in response to the severe weather conditions.
